Taking care of a new phone?!?

Okay, so today I got a new phone. An HTC inspire from ATT. It's probably the first phone I've gotten because my 2 years was up a it was time for an upgrade, as opposed to breaking a phone and needing a new one. This is my 10th phone in the past three years since getting my first phone. That's right, 10th... This phone is originally $400 but I got it for $99. I was supposed to get a iPhone 3GS for $49 but the store ppl talked me and my dad into this 1. I am reallly clumsy and wild so I break and lose a lot of things. My mom was against this phone completely because she thinks a teenager shouldnt hav such a nice phone, but I didn't know it until after I bought it and she said if I lose or break it or anything I have to pay for the extra smartphone data plan, and she isn't buying me a new phone as ling a I'm in her house so I will be paying $15 a month for nothing, and I already am going to do that, I will just have to do it without the phone if anything happens. So I was thinking okay if everyone else can have these fancy phones and take care of them, then so can I, then I realized no, I can't take care of I because I don't know how, so I need a very detailed step by step system to taking the best care and most precautions with a smartphone(: thanks!!
