I'm confused if the Taliban banned opium does that mean we are fighting for the drug lords?

that would mean that the president is pushing drugs, i would hope not. tho the facing the taliban for doing something they do not approve of and facing government law enforcement for the same thing is very different. government officials can be bribed, trying to bribe zealots is another story. as far as the fighting for the drug lords that is debatable and we will probably never know due to classified papers.
